RendrGram is a collaborative of practitioners of multimedia art using musical composition, visual art and performance, based in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2013, they have been exploring how internet and technology shaping art and culture in peculiar way, through media such as online dating, smartphone art, glitches in Googlemaps, and hashtag references. RendrGram wants to convey an abstract message that would trigger awareness and curiosity about the randomness, errors, and glitches that happen in virtual reality and thus reality. This message is a co-produced artifact of the human and digital realms and this artifact highlights the misunderstandings humans have about digital technology. RendrGram argues that the digital/electronic existence of a work makes it subject to change, remix, and errors by artificial intelligence, making computers co-producers of creative work .
